- GoLite - An exquisite brand, but they make their bags without all the bells and whistles (which reduces the overall weight by the way) so what you get is an inexpensive, lightweight backpack.

Another great way to find cheap hiking backpacks is to look for discount backpacks or backpacks on sale. If you’re patient, you can actually get a really nice, high quality, super expensive bag for the price you’d pay for a less renowned brand. Look out for coupons and % off sales.
